Computer system failures are depressingly common
Business deals that have to be aborted, staff who don’t receive their wages, invoices that don’t get paid on time – companies can face potentially catastrophic disruption when their banks suffer computer system failures.

Never Under Estimate Mother Nature
Enjoying a few days off work, I’ve been in the fortunate position today, to be able to keep up with events happening on the East Coast of the USA, where Hurricane Sandy has been due to hit land, encompassing a fairly large area of densely populated land.

It’s been amazing to watch how Mother Nature has twisted and turned and unleashed such powerful weather, on what is basically a collection of cities at her mercy.
